Delete your Ruqyah Daily account

You can delete your account and everything stored with it. There are two ways, and both erase the same things.

From inside the app

Open Ruqyah Daily, go to Settings, and choose Delete my account at the bottom of the screen. Your account is disabled immediately.

Without the app

Email hello@alchemyandwaves.co.uk from the address on your account, or message us on WhatsApp (wa.me/samirletstalk) from the number you signed up with, saying "Delete my account". We will confirm and action it within 30 days.

Writing from the address or number on the account is what lets us be sure the request is yours. If you no longer have either, write anyway and we will find another way to verify it.

What is deleted

Your account: name, mobile number, email address and sign-in.
Your answers: the area and signs you chose in the programme finder, and the prayer you practise after.
Your programmes: which programmes you joined and which code opened them.
Your check-ins: sleep, how you were feeling, and every note you wrote.
Your own words: whatever you wrote about what you were seeking healing from.
Your practice: adhkar completed, ruqyah minutes, recitations played, programme progress.
Your conversations: every message to and from the Companion.
Your reminders: your stored location and any device registered for notifications.
Your circle: your circle links, invitations, and cheers sent or received.
Your shop history: which items you saw and opened stops being linked to you and remains only as an anonymous count. Orders already placed are kept, because they are our sales records.

When it happens

Your account is disabled straight away and you are signed out. Everything above is permanently erased 30 days later. The delay exists so that a deletion made in a difficult moment can be undone, sign back in during those 30 days and the app will offer to restore it.

After 30 days it cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else.
