Delete your Ruqyah Daily account

You can delete your account and everything stored with it. There are two ways, and both erase the same things.

From inside the app

Open Ruqyah Daily, go to Settings, and choose Delete my account at the bottom of the screen. Your account is disabled immediately.

Without the app

Email hello@alchemyandwaves.co.uk from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm and action it within 30 days.

Sending from the address on the account is what lets us be sure the request is yours. If you no longer have access to that address, write anyway and we will find another way to verify it.

What is deleted

• Your account: name, email address and sign-in.
• Your check-ins: sleep, how you were feeling, and every note you wrote.
• Your own words: whatever you wrote about what you were seeking healing from.
• Your practice: adhkar completed, ruqyah minutes, recitations played, streaks.
• Your conversations: every message to and from the Companion.
• Your reminders: your stored location and any device registered for notifications.

When it happens

Your account is disabled straight away and you are signed out. Everything above is permanently erased 30 days later. The delay exists so that a deletion made in a difficult moment can be undone — sign back in during those 30 days and the app will offer to restore it.

After 30 days it cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else.
